NO CG2294. CG2294 is an endorsement that excludes coverage for property damage to a homebuilder's or remodeler's work itself, which is meant to be borne by the contractor. If you have exclusion CG 2294 endorsed on your policy, then you DO NOT have any coverage for work performed on your behalf by your subcontractors. The exclusion falls under the umbrella of exclusions known as the business risk doctrine, which precludes coverage for damage arising out of the insured's completed work.
